Recovery Circles are small, loving support groups where people are known, loved and held to be their best selves. Each Recovery Circle is led by a trained Circle Facilitator, many of which are Members with longer-term stable recovery.

These groups promote healing and transformation through:
-Embracing communities of support and discouraging the isolation that triggers substance abuse and aggravates mental health challenges. Circles create a sacred space where people can be their authentic selves, brokenness and all, and provide critical entry to a supportive community.
-Serving each other with the giving and receiving of compassionate listening, respectful feedback with permission, and a commitment to honest sharing. Members learn to trust again and practice healthy interactions with others.
-Educating about the recovery process, the certain realities and powerlessness in some aspects of living with mental illness, and the importance of consistent medication management in recovery.
-Exchanging advice and promoting the development of skills to prevent relapse and avoid drugs and alcohol through the identification of triggers or high-risk situations for relapse and building alternative social and recreational opportunities.
-Teaching responsibility and developing accountability skills by requiring weekly Circle attendance or notifying Recovery Café prior to absence.
